Our PTA is a volunteer organization made up of parents, family members, teachers, and staff from the school community who want to make a positive impact in the lives of students. There are many ways to get involved, from joining a planning committee to signing up to help at an event. Get involved in any way that works for you.

Volunteer Process
We recognize that family engagement is an important part of a student’s success and helps contribute to a positive school environment. We encourage families to be involved in district and school activities including but not limited to advisory and advocacy roles, or volunteering time, talent, and knowledge. We welcome family and community members to volunteer in our schools. Please review the following processes and complete this online application.
All volunteers must have the following:
TB clearance that is valid for the entire school year
Fingerprint/background check clearance

TK/Kinder Social
Organize the incoming little tiger’s first school event of the year!
School Dance
Help organize this fun family event. Typically two dances “Spooktacular Dance “ & “Sweethearts Dance”
Banners
Work with the local business community to secure long-term donation commitments. Businesses receive a banner featuring business name and logo on Pearl Ave
Book Fair
We need help to make this Spring event a success! Volunteer to plan, promote, set up, or work a shift at checkout.
Staff Appreciation
Show appreciation for our dedicated Terrell teachers and staff. We need help with fundraising, food, hosting, and clean up for this event.
Dining Nights Out
Coordinates with local restaurants to host the Terrell family, while at the same time raising money for the school.
Walk-a-thon
Leads and coordinates all activities for the school’s aanual Walk-a-thon. Typically held in November
Terrell Carnival
Help organize this fun family event. Terrell’s end of the year blast
Family Fun Night
Coordinates events for the entire family to come together and have fun! Past events include Movie Night and Game Night.
