FAQs

What is the purpose of the PTA?

The PTA exists to identify the needs of all students, the school, its families, and the community. Together we find ways to help provide each student with the best teachers, tools, and resources to meet those needs and unlock success in every child.

I don't have free time - How can I participate?

Money is always good – Donate! There are also so many creative opportunities that our busy, working parents have found to support the school and participate in the PTA and school events. You may not be able to do it all, but you can do something. Reach out to us – we know we’ll be able to find a way you can get involved!

Do I have to volunteer?

Nope. Being a member only means you can give us your ideas and vote on the programs we will fund. We always love volunteers, because that is how we can run our programs, but it’s not at all a requirement for joining.

What does the PTA do with the funds raised?

All of our fundraising projects go directly to helping the school. We pay for important school resources, like Recess 101,  school field trips and other fun activities like Carnival

What if I can't make it to the PTA meetings?

PTA meetings aren’t mandatory. Of course, we hope you can join us and participate at the meetings, especially to vote on important decisions when it’s called for. Meetings are also available via zoom.

What if I have an idea for a new fundraiser or committee?

We want to hear it! You can also Contact Us with any ideas, anytime!
